Scottish by birth, she
has lived in and loved London for nearly 20 years, (although
she's never lost the accent!) After travelling the world she realised
that there's nothing to beat the UK's vibrant capital city.
Whether you're visiting London for the first time or if you're an old
hand who wants to find out more about your home town, Maitland will
help you get the most out of exploring this fabulous city. Prior to
becoming an award winning London Blue Badge Tour Guide (she's the 2010
Coach Guide of the Year) Maitland was a Fundraiser for several national
charities and organised many nationwide concerts and events. As such
she's got unending enthusiasm, energy and humour.
Maitland enjoys guiding groups of any size or age (from school groups
to students of the Third Age), on foot, by coach, by car or even by
boat; she's a bit wobbly on a bike tho'!
She's worked with corporate clients, European and American college
groups, families and has even been a birthday present! Everyone has
enjoyed having a tour particularly tailored to their needs - be it an
open top Routemaster bus tour of London highlights, a walk round
Windsor Castle or an individual walking tour of Dickensian London.
A day out with Maitland will help you explore London and its characters
